Cutwork Table Runner -Two Sessions - November 23 and 30, 1-4 or6-9, $70
Teacher-Donna Blake
Elegant enough to be used at Buckingham Place, this linen table runner has beautiful techniques that are a lot of fun to stitch in ecru on white linen. The center is embellished with cutwork embroidery by machine and motifs of intertwined shaped bias decorate each end. Gimpwork accents the cutwork and shaped bias and creates a beautiful border along the mitered hem that is secured with wing needle hemstitching. These techniques are beautifully blended in this impressive centerpiece.

Heirloom Change of Heart Reversible Pillow, October 25, 10-1 or 6-9 $35

This pillow is really two in one! The beautiful triangular flaps can be tied on one side to reveal a pretty heart appliquéd with machine embroidery in the center. Flip the triangles to the other side and you have a treatment with rickrack bridging and lace. The top and the bottom of the pillow can made with two different colors of fabric, making the pillow really look like two different versions! The triangular flaps are tied with double pieces of ribbon.
